Key Responsibilities

  • Enjoy problem solving, collaborating with colleagues, and driving realization of successful customer outcomes.

  • Skilled in the process of data modeling and normalization to ensure that databases are designed to promote data integrity.

  • Ability to evaluate business/application requirements to create logical data models and E/R diagrams.

  • Translate the logical data model into a physical database implementation.

  • Perform hands-on technical solution design and development.

  • Have deep experience in T-SQL programming using Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Knowledge and usage of Azure SQL and its data migration methodologies.

  • Ability to Support Oracle and knowledge of oracle Databases.

  • Knowledge of DevOps and Automated Database Deployment.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product and services teams with best practices related to SQL Server administration, optimization and source control throughout the development lifecycle. Including, but not limited to:

  • Administering schema versions.

  • Set-up and tear-down of development and testing environments.

  • Troubleshooting SQL server instances for deadlocks, performance issues and resource issues.

  • Performance tune queries and offer expertise on set-based operations.

  • Build and validate deployment scripts.

  • Build and validate rollback scripts.

  • Implement schema and data comparison processes.

  • Help develop techniques to audit and monitor access attempts and events related the databases and objects that contain sensitive PII  record

  • Offer consulting on optimal architecture and data models.

  • Implement cleansing and standardizing of enterprise datasets.

  • Profile and analyze enterprise datasets using a variety of tools

  • Writing clean, well-documented SQL code for custom reports and application logic.

  • Working collaboratively to implement new product features and resolve operational bugs.

  • Provide support for production operations as needed, including monitoring scheduled jobs.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server environments – Experience in SQL 2017 Preferred.

  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio or Redgate

  • . Experience with Microsoft SQL and TFS version control systems
