Check Point Certified Professional Services Technician

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with large corporate customers about product integration
  • Provide training and implementation of company High-End products in complex networking environments
  • The work will be on-site nationwide and you will be required to quickly understand the deployed topology, and perform the work per the customer’s needs
  • As the person becomes more familiar with the product, there may be opportunities to provide training to customers as well

Desired Background

  • 5-8 years of experience with IP based networks, network design, and security products
  • Experience with several different operating systems: Linux,and Unix- based
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience required
  • Experience with Check Point products required (certification preferred) 
  • Strong VSX, Provider-1, and 61K experience desired
  • Strong TCP/IP understanding and knowledge of debugging products – particularly Check Point products.
  • Customer oriented and post-sales experience with direct face to face service. Experience with providing training is an advantage
  • Up to 80% travel
